The Cockapoo is a cross-breed dog with very good traits. It gets the people loving nature of the Cocker, and the intelligence of the Poodle. These are the best traits of both breeds. With little to no shedding from the Poodle, but the longer hair of the Cocker, they can be cut to any style the owner wants without affecting allergies. This gets the endorsement of Veterinarians, Pediatricians, and Allergist alike. Our dogs are breed to stay to the smaller side of the breed (between 12-16 pounds). Cockers can run 20-30lbs, and standard Poodles upward of 70 lbs. Of course, the Poodle also has smaller blood-lines. Both the Cocker (a water dog) and the Poodle (bred as hunters) bring sporting traits to be very playful in fetching and special tricks. They love to serve and play with their master and seem to always love children.
